Following the success of the Farrell launch campaign we were briefed to create an ad that went straight to the heart of the brands target consumer. A list of keywords was drawn up to sum up their attitude; Friends Football & Fighting. The list stuck and became the name of the ad, giving a contemporary twist to the British tribes that inspire the brands collections.
We roped in Rob’s pal Olly Murs to make up the numbers but I won’t tell you who the best player was.
The script opened with the setting – 'A cold damp day in a London park…' Of course it turned out to be the hottest March day the country had seen in years, so if they boys look hot it’s because they were.
